George upon your "Victory" tonight let me be the first to extend my "Deepest Sympathy" to the town of Isanti, and in regards to your "Comment Moderation Being Enabled" What happened to Freedom Of Speech?

Congratulations George! Now let's all make sure we get more involved in the community! After all, the council won't know what's 100% best for us if we don't tell them!!!!

Congratulations. I know you will make a great mayor. The city is very lucky to have you for mayor.

  9. Comments are moderated because some people felt profanity and wild accusations could be freely added to the blog. It is still amazing that a critic like yourself likes to take pot shots about free speech when "your" candidate tried to use the power of the Council to silence me last year.

Better luck next time trying to defeat me.

George I sure hope you will be able to keep all of your Campaign Promises you have made to the residents of Isanti. Can you say 3 to 1???? From your "Pot Shot Critic"

  12. So your premise is that the 3 Council Members that will be on the Council in January will vote against me on everything.

We shall see. I kept my promieses in 2004 and I will do the same this time.

Instead of critizing from the shadows get involved. Tell me what positions of mine you disagree and we can have that discussion.

I think that you should work toward having individual seat elections for the city council. This would allow someone to run head-to-head against a "bad seed". These "cattle call" elections where the top 2 or 3 vote getters win the 2 or 3 seats available does not promote accountability from our elected officials. Congratulations and good luck!

It's amazing how people can talk so big, but yet they're afraid of putting their names down!

It'd be one thing to say snide, childish remarks and you know who it's coming from, but these replies are just little babies that are acting less mature than 3 year olds!!

    People, get a life!!!

Instead of an election(which will cost the city money)for your open seat, how about appointing the next person who won the majority votes. No sense in having two elections when we just had one.
