Will the public really be given a chance to be heard? I have been to council meetings before and told to sit down! Don't say it if you don't mean it!
ReplyDeletethe public may attend this session but it is not a public comment session. the public has the chance to speak at each and every council meeting. no one has every been denied unless they become repetitive or obscene

ReplyDeleteCommon sense would say anyone with a job would not be able to attend. Don't blame other hard working council members for not being there because of a badly timed meeting.
The entire Council approved this date and time and it has been held on that Monday of January for at least 5 years.
