We will be starting to plow 5am on the 24th and plowing all day then coming back at 1 am on Friday the 25th. Then back again on Saturday. This schedule may change if there is a dramatic shift in snowfall.
Everyone please make sure you obey the Winter Parking Restrictions or you will be ticketed and towed. I can not stress this enough especially in a significant snowfall event.
We must also remember that our Public Works employees are giving up their Christmas so we will have a safe Christmas.

The police work their normally scheduled time. Holidays, if I remember right, are decided by seniority.
When their is a snow event the Public Works guys are called in no matter what they are doing unless they are gone on vacation somewhere. It is their job duty but it is important to remember what they do.
Police, Public Works, Doctors, EMTs and Firefighters all have the same type of service where they can get called in... just highlighting Public Works as they are working hard. No should be so petty as to assume this undercuts anyone else...
Thanks to the city workers that worked so hard on this Christmas storm we had.I was very happy with how quick the street was done.
