Re: Resignation from City Council
Dear City Council,
Effective immediately I am resigning my position as a City Council member with the City of Isanti. Due to a change in employment I will no longer be able to attend the regularly scheduled council meetings. I would like to express my deepest gratitude and thanks for the opportunity to serve the city of Isanti and to work with Mayor Wimmer and our Council over the last several years. I feel confident in the direction our City is going in and the direction Mayor Wimmer is leading us. Our City is a great city and will continue to be with our current leadership. I look forward to working with other organizations around our community in the future. I would also like to take the time to thank the citizens of Isanti for allowing me the opportunity to serve them over the last several years. It is an incredible honor to have served in this position. Again, thank you!
Sincerely,
Jeff Kolb

New Poll Question
New poll in the left column regarding a local candidates arrest record. The Poll ask if you believe it is important to voters to know a candidates recent arrest record. This has become even more of an issue as Mankato's Mayor was arrested recently for drunk driving and his prior arrest was never disclosed. Mankato Mayor's Arrest Story
With a candidate running for office in our great City with multiple recent arrest and convictions and not disclosing that history will there be buyers remorse if he should be elected. I hope the person will address the issue soon or I believe it is incumbent upon us to share the public record. I want to hear from the community if they think it is important to have this information.

School District no Longer wants Mayors to Welcome Teachers
Just got off the phone with the School District.... they are no longer wanting the Mayors to do the welcome to teachers at the beginning of the school year. They have hired a professional that will take up this time. I am sorry I will not be able to welcome back our fantastic teachers this year... please know you are in my thoughts and prayers
Obey the Law
My opponent keeps putting signs on property he has no permission to use.... if you are a victim of this please let me know.... It is important to remember that you are breaking the law if you put signs where you do not have permission. Every single one of my signs has permission of the property owners....
