Are you going to let the railroad dictate to you when they are going to fix their track crossing? I can't even drive over the downtown track anymore, it's impossible!!!!I should send a bill to the city for the extra gas I have to use to go around this mess. This sounds just like the last time the city rolled over when the state of Minnesota shut off and killed our main street. Stand up for our rights,thats what we elected you to do!!!!!!!
Well the railroad is governed by federal law and not even the state can make the railroad do something they do not want to do. It is a sad fact that hurt Cambridge as well with something as simple as the timing of lights with there new traffic lights. That took months to resolve. Every community unfortunately has to suffer through the same process. The Federal Government has given all the power to the railroad in these situations.
