I have taken a break from writing but time to get back at it.... we have a lot of work to do at the County level this year and a long list of positives to discuss for our City... redistricting of the County Commissioner map will be quite interesting as I am hoping but not expecting the Commissioners to approve the objective map presented by their own staff instead of political gerrymandering to make a map they can run safely in for re-election this year.
I will also be presenting the State of the City in February as well....

It seems a little odd that you would take such a long break from conversing with the people you serve. Could it be that a few projects did not take off? What ever happened to the new BBQ hut? Oh wait, it's not going to happen because the times are so bad. So much for new jobs in our little town.
The fun of nonsense comments... We have added dozens of new jobs in 2011 and with expansion of American Manufacturing alone more good paying jobs will be added... Not to bad in such a terrible economy...
As for the BBQ place the City has all it's approvals in place but unfortunately the appraisals for the facility did not come in high enough... An issue most everyone has faced...
No project is completed till it is completed
