I am putting together the list of properties for signs. If you will be willing to host a "George Wimmer for Mayor" sign please click the link-- george.wimmer@genesiswireless.us and e-mail me your address.

Yard signs can not go in before August 1st by state statue and City Ordinance.

Thank you for your support.

Dear George,
I think I'd like to have a sign, but I wish there was more info in here.. more about you, to see who exactly we're voting for, Isanti needs someone to fight for the people, residents, seeing: many new sidewalks, (tho not as spendy as Main Streets), our kids are falling on bikes, on foot over the new curbs, seeing.. cars, boats, trailers in many residential areas, people still park on the grass in our "green space" by City Hall, God forbid if it was a yard! how about in city officials yards, or across from the Elementary, look from kids crosswalk into yards across to the south, OLD cars.. trucks, etc, if someone complained one would be about fire hazards. Bet: our children will be walking to the new school, while our taxes again go up some more.. when is the open house for the new school do you know?? Option: for Isanti's new families that want bussing of small children, we can enroll Isanti children in Cambridge schools and they can ride the Heartland Express for less than it would be to drive them
to local schools, some Christian Schools may have scholorships available and bussing! back to the crosswalks, people do NOT stop, kids, elderly, whole families can wait 20 minutes or more for traffic to notice them, private citizens go out, maybe risking their lives especially in rush hour.. yelling at drivers to look, slow down, (hhhmmm... pedestrian rage)? will be back with more ideas.. or do you want pictures?
I'd probably want a sign, you have more to offer us than any one else?

Please e-mail me at george.wimmer@genesiswireless.us

Also if you have not already, go to www.georgewimmer.com for some more specific details.

Please e-mail me or call me with any specific questions.

The bussing situation would be funny if it were not so sad. I am surprised no one challenged the school board membersthis election cycle.

I support walking school busses construction of sidewalks and trails that will connect to the schools. The sidewalk on 23 and 5 will at least give a safe route to the schools. This will be completed before this falls school year.

This does not address what to do during the cold winter months. I have been trying to get more attention to the bussing issue but to little results.

George,
the kids to the wet, were told last year to walk the bike path, which is awful by the creek, for the little ones, and then when they don't get plowed, but..- check it out now it's totally tore up!! the kids got used to that, but will be forced now to go the long way and use the new sidewalk, now how do we get them safe passage to the new school?? We could fight for a trail idea down Main St to 65 and a crossing there would be safer than on 5, and then to the school? the new kids N of 5 will have the sidewalk on 5 but then get stuck crossing 65 on 5, dang.. where's the other walking buses..?? also with the "new" preschool/daycare deal young parents prob will get stuck going back to having to use licenced daycares available.. I just can't believe the way we're made to feel like cattle in a sense.
