Will the public really be given a chance to be heard? I have been to council meetings before and told to sit down! Don't say it if you don't mean it!
the public may attend this session but it is not a public comment session. the public has the chance to speak at each and every council meeting. no one has every been denied unless they become repetitive or obscene
Who schedules a goal setting meeting for a Monday morning?
Common sense would say anyone with a job would not be able to attend. Don't blame other hard working council members for not being there because of a badly timed meeting.
The entire Council approved this date and time and it has been held on that Monday of January for at least 5 years.
